Her only son Russell Thaw passed in 1984 he married twice and sadly his mother claimed that Henry was Russell's father but, Henry and his family wouldn't accept that Russell's was Henry Thaws child. Evelyn stated that during conjugal visits was when Russell was conceived but, nobody in Henry's family believe that and Henry wouldn't accept that Russell was his as well. How cruel life can be . Russell and his second wife had 3 children and I found that touching. I never knew Evelyn and her son did 8 silent movies together him always being the child. All flims have been lost. I found that tradgic too ! Blessings to her grandchildren and may she and her son be resting in peace. Loved this video , Thank you..

I don’t believe Evelyn ever loved Stanford White. I think she didn’t experience pure unconditional love growing up, particularly from a male caregiver, and her subsequent misguided attempts to find such love (which absolutely does not need to be sexual, particularly as a child) not only made her so vulnerable to being preyed upon by a predator like White (3x her age, married and immensely powerful), it also made her mistaken other feelings as love. I believe what she felt/experienced was ‘limerence’, a common symptom of a traumatic childhood. While unsurprising, it’s sad that she never got the help she needed to figure out the truth of her life, to heal and learn healthier behaviours for being in a relationship, to experience that true unconditional love of equals.

Rich people are still getting down like this, they just do it on private islands now
